About Us

Keyport, New Jersey

Countertop makers, furniture builders.

GM Custom Formica Work is a countertop shop at 120 Francis St in Keyport, New Jersey, on the Raritan Bayshore. Years of fabricating laminate countertops taught us that a great surface is flat, square and sealed — so we build solid wood vanities, consoles, record stands, coffee tables and tree bookshelves to order and ship them free across the United States.

Why solid wood

Laminate is perfect for a hard-working kitchen counter. For furniture we choose solid hardwood, which can be sanded, re-oiled and repaired for decades.

We keep natural edges wherever we can, so each top shows the grain of the tree it came from.

What we build

Vanities & consoles — floating and cabinet bathroom vanities, console tables, TV consoles and record stands.
Coffee tables & desks — live-edge and farmhouse coffee tables, end tables, side tables and desks.
Bookshelves & wine racks — tree bookshelves, wall shelves, divider bookcases and wine racks.
Benches & decor — sculptural and outdoor benches, coat racks, floor lamps, a mantel and wall art.
